The organizing committee is planning to obtain funds from the SpanishAID Agency (AECID), Minister of Science & Innovation of the Spanish Government, Canarian Research & Innovation Agency of the Government of the Canary Islands, Cabildo Insular de Tenerife, Spanish Volcanological Society (SVE) and IAVCEI to assist the travel of overseas students, young scientists and participants from developing countries to CoV6-Tenerife 2010. The total number of recipients will be limited, and the amounts will also vary depending on geographic location and a recipient's other funding. The application form will be soon available in the web.

The applicant for CoV6-Tenerife 2010 travel grants should fulfill one of the following conditions:

• He/She should have been born after December 31, 1975.
• He/She should have received a. Ph.D. later than 2005.
• He/She should be residing in a developing country.

The applicant must submit an abstract on which he/she is the first author and the presenter. A copy of that abstract must accompany his/her application. The application (donwload application format) and a copy of the abstract may be sent by mail, fax or e-mail (travelgrants@citiesonvolcanoes6.com) no later than January 31. All items must reach the CoV6 secretariat one month prior to the normal deadline for abstracts submission. If using mail or fax, send the application and abstract to:
