Several people have requested to CoV6-Tenerife 2010 Organization additional days for abstracts submission. Therefore, the new and final deadline for abstracts submission is March 8, 2010. By the time being around 500 abstracts from 40 different countries have been submitted to CoV6-Tenerife 2010. Abstracts can be submitted via e-mail
(abstracts@citiesonvolcanoes6.com).

Please follow the instructions of the abstract format (downloadable form). It is recommended that the text be prepared beforehand to ensure the following requirements are met (i) no more than 300 words and (ii) no figures or tables. Please remember that an abstract can not be edited after the deadline. Please also note that incomplete abstracts might not be accepted. A confirmation notice of the abstract submission will be sent to you automatically by e-mail. The scientific committee and session conveners will make all decisions on abstract acceptance, session numbers and style of presentation, giving due consideration to contributors' preferences. Results will be sent to contributors by e-mail by the end of March 2010.

Oral and poster presentations will be accepted for CoV6-Tenerife 2010. All oral and poster presentations will be in English. However, simultaneous translations Spanish-English / English-Spanish for oral presentations is being considered for specific sessions. Oral presentations will last 15 minutes (about 12-13 minutes for the presentation and 3-2 minutes for questions from the audience). Poster presentation size should be 841 mm (wide) and 1189 mm (height). All keynote speaker"s talks will last for 30 minutes (about 25 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for questions from the audience).
